How to make candles at home?

Melt the solid paraffin in a container over low heat. Do not leave the paraffin unattended on the heat source. Stir until it becomes liquid. Optionally, you can add candle coloring. Don't forget to add fragrance along with the coloring, as it will cause the candle to release a wonderful scent when burned.

What kind of container should be used to store homemade candles?

You can pour the candle mixture you've prepared into glass or metal containers, or even, if you want to create a different style, into walnut shells or orange peels. Or you can prepare different candle shapes with various containers. Silicone molds (cake and chocolate molds) can be very useful in this regard.

Before adding the prepared liquid for the candle, place the candle wick into the container you will be pouring the liquid into. Use a wick leveler to ensure the wick remains straight. Immediately pour the prepared liquid into the container. Let it sit at room temperature until it solidifies. Once solidified, patch any sunken areas to ensure the candle is level again. After this process, your candle is ready to light.
